Taunton Thank Yous
At Taunton the Trust had a head start on Volunteers' Week (1-7 June) which celebrates and recognises the contributions of volunteers across the country. Vehicle owners, crews, planners, marshals, photographers... too numerous to mention combined their volunteer efforts to create a memorable Grand Day Out on the buses for many, many people. Taunton Tasks
The washing and polishing undertaken by Supporter saw a smartly turned out fleet at the Vintage Bus Day centred on The Parade in Taunton on Sunday 31st May, The Taunton Town Shuttles, in striking 'rhubarb & custard' livery, were new some 40 years ago. Taunton 31 May
The Trust will be back in the centre of Taunton giving free rides from 10-5 on Sunday 31st May, thanks to the generosity of the participating vehicle owners. New and favourite routes will be served by buses and coaches spanning 60 years of our transport heritage from 1946-2006. There are coach tours too with a new mystery destination.
