The Trust has been out sharing heritage buses with families and new friends this weekend, here at South Hams Vintage Machinery Club’s Sorley Rally on Sunday following a day at Bocconoc in Cornwall on Saturday. Meanwhile in Bray (Berkshire) a wedding gift to neighbours introduced yet more family and friends to the delights of luxury coach travel. A great time was had by all with refreshing recognition of the importance of bus & coach preservation, seen through new eyes.

Beautifully turned out coaches threaded their way through Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall on traditional Royal Blue routes on 19-21 June 2026. Here a Bristol 'Medium Weight' coach numbered 1423 gives a flavour of the spectacle as it pauses over Ilfracombe early on the third day. Take a look at the coaches that entered and their route - Basingstoke - Weymouth - Sherborne - Taunton - Exeter - Okehampton - Bude - Bideford - Barnstaple - Ilfracombe - Lynton - Minehead - Blue Anchor - Bridgwater - Street - Yeovil and many points in between.
