With the Vintage bus day coming to The Parade in central Taunton on Sunday 31st May, washing and polishing our fleet is well underway thanks to Supporters.

There's still time to purchase a souvenir programme online, so it arrives in advance by post for you to plan your day. Copies will also be available at Rumwell Farm Shop and the County Classics Motor Museum on North Street from Thursday 21st, as well as from the Trust Stand on the day.

The Taunton Town Shuttles, in striking 'rhubarb & custard' livery, were new some 40 years ago. The innovation and legacy for today's town services are explained using photographs and documents from the archive within the programme Look out for the very first Taunton Town Shuttle, No. 300 on 31st May - now preserved it will be giving free rides (just 16 at a time!) at the vintage bus day.

With 18 double-deck buses and a dozen other single-deck buses and coaches entered, there is plenty of capacity and choice, covering a range of new and revised routes alongside regular favourites. Click here for an overview.
