Windsor Success

Together with the Amersham & District Motorbus Society, our services were based in Windsor Coach Park to mark 40 years since it first opened. This made for a great mix of vehicles and routes enjoyed by many enthusiasts and visitors alike.

Local buses operated across former Thames Valley and London Transport routes to a variety of destinations, with a few special tours added in to the mix.

The Trust's stand and archive display was under the canopy at Windsor Central Station together with our 1927 Tilling-Stevens, Thames Valley No. 152. This attracted considerable attention as tourists marvelled that it was a real bus actually driven there! Some were astonished that the area was once the terminus for service buses rather than a pedestrianised shopping destination. Our thanks to the Windsor Royal team for permitting our display.
