Whichever way you look at it, the TV&GWOT/CBPS Penzance Vintage Bus Day on 19 April was a great success. With a fine display of vehicles, volunteers and visitors enjoyed a fabulous day out enjoying the stunning Cornish landscapes in the sunshine. THANK YOU to everyone who took part, particularly those travelling significant distances to support the event.
VR 1056 from the TV&GWOT fleet, once based at Camborne, returned to Cornwall and is seen here pausing by East Boscaswell Mine near Pendeen on the St Just service.
VRs will return to Cornwall on 5 December, then the Penzance Vintage Bus Day 2027 will be on 18th April, again the third Sunday in April. See you there!
