A warm welcome to Reading was indeed given to the heritage buses and coaches on Sunday 16th November. The enthusiasm of the people of Reading and the many visitors who came to ride made the day really enjoyable for everyone involved. A big thank you from us all to the vehicle owners, crews and many volunteers who made the event possible.
And thank you to the photographers who enable us to re-enjoy the day online. The Trust's Royal Blue LS No. 1286 started the day with a feeder service along the traditional coaching route from Maidenhead on the A4, then treated passengers to trips to the University, Donkin Hill and the Three Tuns on Wokingham Road.
Next year's date for your diary is Sunday 4th October 2026 - expect something extra special as together we celebrate 125 years of the Council's involvement in passenger road trasnport.
