West Cornwall VR Revival - 20 years on

Organised by the Trust in collaboration with the Cornwall Bus Preservation Society, preserved Bristol VR double-deck buses will return to Cornwall en masse 20 years after the country's last bastion of closed-top VRs was withdrawn from service in Penzance on 9 December 2006.

About the Event
Owners of Bristol VR buses are warmly invited to converge on Penzance to demonstrate, 20 years on, the durability of this popular vehicle and recreate the final services operated in December 2006.
Visitors are equally welcome to share in the VR celebrations. There will be free trips for the public through the day, following the final 2006 service routes to Land's End, St Ives and Helston.
