Reading Buses 125th Anniversary

A one-off spectacular collaboration to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Reading Buses municipal ownership. Reading’s pedestrianised Broad Street will host a lineup of Reading Corporation Transport vehicles whilte a host of preserved buses from the local area will offer free rides around the town.

About the Event
Reading Buses 125th Anniversary is a one-off spectacular collaboration to celebrate the 125th anniversary of Reading Buses municipal ownership. Reading’s pedestrianised Broad Street will host a lineup of Reading Corporation Transport vehicles from the 1930s to the present day with era-appropriate entertainment, whilst a host of preserved buses from the local area will offer free rides around the town from the nearby streets.
The event is being brought to you by Reading Buses, Reading Business Improvement District, Thames Valley & Great Western Omnibus Trust, British Trolleybus Society, and other local preservationists.
